Spring is here again

I went downtown to see the cherry blossoms during the first Saturday of the "peak bloom period."  It was lovely, but freezing cold.  The weather has been a little chilly again over the past few days.  We get glimpses of spring weather and then it disappears.  I like it when it's warmer during the day but crisp, cool and a bit windy in the mornings and evenings.  Those days have been rare.

But at least I got a few pictures to document life.  Everything else I've been doing seems to involve rushing from place to place trying to get things done.  I think I might have committed to too many things this season.

The first and only blossoms in the Tulip Garden.  I'm sure more have appeared in the last few weeks. 

 

Hopefully another post will come soon with pictures of Kathleen and Chris.  They're here for the week and I don't have any photos of them yet.  Eeks!
